German Hunting and Fishing Museum
Since more than 50 years, the former Augustinerkirche right in the centre of Munich is housing the German Hunting and Fishing Museum. On 3,000 m2 the museum shows exciting artefacts, paintings and taxidermical objects concerning the topic of hunting and fishing.
Permanent exhibitions with many interactive and multimedia elements as well as the changing special exhibitions are focussing particularly on sustainability, respectful treatment of nature as well as the cultural and social influences of hunting and fishing.
